Double distilled using the pristine waters of Tasmania and malted barley (41/52) this is an Australian 40% alc/vol vodka. I was unable to detect its’ claimed ‘malty sweetness’, instead I understood why the word fire is used in the name of this vodka. It burned my throat as I had a shot. The design of the bottle is striking, modern and beautiful and that is what raised what would have been an even lower score.
